| You have the unique opportunity to receive three private lessons from Tashi on how to create Buddha Shakyamuni’s face.
First Lesson: You will create the drawing and begin to understand the mathematical precision necessary for making a thangka. Second Lesson: You will work with mineral colors and move into the different stages of painting and shading. Third Lesson: Tashi will help you complete the eyes and final details of your thangka as well as seal it with the traditional prayer. Each class is three hours. Tashi Dhargyal has trained and painted for 15 years. For the past four years, he was the artist-in-residence at the Ganden Monastery in Dharamsala. He is both a master thangka painter and craftsman.
